Feng Shui is an ancient oriental art and science aimed at improving every aspect of your life by arranging elements in a space to establish harmony and balance. It creates pathways for energy (chi) to flow through objects, people, and nature. It also examines how the energy flow in your living environment is affected by the placement of objects and how these objects interact and influence your personal energy (chi).
CHI
One of the most important components of Feng Shui is CHI. Translated as breath, it is the Chinese term for the unifying principal of energy. It is life itself. Feng Shui views your home as a living entity that you're either in harmony with or not. Understanding how to improve the chi of our surroundings, and of ourselves is the basic operating principal of Feng Shui.
When there is good chi flow everything is nourished and supported. Blocked or cluttered spaces inhibit the flow of chi and affect the quality of life in that environment.
By harmonizing your personal chi with the chi in your environment you come into harmony with the natural forces of nature resulting in a healthier, happier and more prosperous life.
